UPDATE: Our opening ceremony for Friday, April 5th is canceled due to poor field conditions. 
 
WSLL Families,

On behalf of the entire WSLL Board, we are excited to kick off the spring season with our opening ceremony this Friday, April 5th at Byron Ave. Park.

If the rain continues, as forecast, it may make fields too wet to host the opening ceremony.  Please stay tuned for updates.

Things to know for Opening Ceremonies:

Please arrive close to 5:30 pm with your child wearing their team jersey and hat.  Teams should bring their banners. Teams should proceed to the following field locations based on their playing division:

Majors @ Yankee
AAA @ Ebbets
1A & AA@ Monaco
5T & T-ball @ Phillips

Washington Nationals Ticket raffle tickets may be purchased along the left field fence of Yankee for $1 = 1 ticket or $10 = 11 tickets.  Drawing will be done during the opening ceremony.  Please buy tickets early.

There will be a Kona Ice Truck on-site!!!  We will also have pizza slices at the Byron concession stand as an additional item for purchase along with our world-famous Byron burgers and normal allotment of concession items.  

Parking as always will be at a premium at Byron Ave. St. Bernadette's has been incredibly gracious and is allowing us to have additional parking in their lot.  They have asked us to park on the east side of the parking lot, in front of the Parish office.  

Our 2 games for the evening will be Majors games and will start at 6:30 pm at both Yankee and Wrigley. 

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday and officially kicking off our spring 2024 season!
