Welcome to the West Springfield Little League Spring 2024 season! We extend a warm welcome to all of our new families and are excited to see our returning families for another wonderful baseball season.  

Our pre-season activities are now underway.  Players in the  5T, T-ball and 1A (Machine Pitch) divisions will receive team assignments in late February. Players in our AA, AAA and Major divisions will learn their team assignments after their respective drafts conclude. 

Below are some key dates that will get us ready for our practices to begin in March. 

Feb 3 - Majors and Waiver Tryouts

Feb 8 - Majors, AAA and AA Manager Orientation

Feb 10 - AAA and select AA Tryouts

Feb 15 - Majors Draft

Feb 19 - AAA Draft

Feb 20 - 5T, Tball and 1A Manager Orientation

Feb 22 - AA Draft

March 2 - practices begin March 7 - Team Parent Meeting

April 2 - AAA and Majors games begin

April 5 - Opening Ceremony
April 13 - Team Photos
June 1 - Championship Games

We are an all-volunteer organization serving children ages 5-12.  As such, we will be offering many opportunities to volunteer throughout the season.  Concessions, field preparation, and special events are just a few of the opportunities where volunteers are needed.  We will announce volunteer opportunities via email and on our website. Please consider signing up for these opportunities to earn your $200 volunteer fee back, for those that did not select the buyout option.
